Samana Developers appoints former Damac VP as new general manager

Dubai — Mubasher: Samana Developers has hired Damac Properties’ former vice-president Alan James Gammon as general manager to lead its expansion plans.

Gammon will oversee the implementation of three projects set to be launched in the first quarter of 2019, along with an ongoing Samana Greens residential project in Arjan-Dubailand district near Miracles Gardens, the Dubai-based real estate developer said in a statement.

Samana Developers said that it has completed 40% of the AED 75 million Samana Greens residential project, which is scheduled for delivery by April 2020.

Commenting on Gammon’s appointment, CEO of Samana Developers, said: “The appointment is a reflection of our commitment to completing our projects well on time with a high quality, healthy living environment and developing potentially high yield properties.”

He added that Gammon boasts of having years-long expertise in real estate, customer service and hospitality that in return will help firmly position Samana Developers in Dubai’s real estate market.

Gammon, a British national, has managed AED10 billion worth of assets under his portfolio.

He said, “I thank Samana Developers for their trust in me and I am excited to work with a boutique but high-quality developer who is committed to their investors and end-users. I am sure our synergy will be a win-win scenario for the developer and investors alike.”
