Salik to pay nearly AED 491.5m as cash dividends for H2-22

Dubai - Mubasher: The shareholders of Salik Company greenlighted the distribution of AED 491.40 million, equivalent to 6.55 fils per share, as cash dividends for the second half (H2) of 2022, according to a press release.

The announced cash dividends represent 100% of the net profit registered in H2-22 after deducting a one-time statutory reserve of AED 37.50 million.

Meanwhile, the shareholders approved the dividends proposal during Salik’s first annual general meeting (AGM) as a publicly listed company.

In 2022, Salik’s revenue increased by 11.80% year-on-year (YoY) to AED 1.89 billion, mainly backed by a 12.60% growth in the number of revenue-generating trips resulting from ongoing recovery after the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions in Dubai.

Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of Salik, highlighted: "2022 marked a new chapter in Salik's journey, and we are pleased to play a central role in Dubai's ambitious [initial public offering] IPO programme, including the momentous listing of Salik in September 2022.”

“We remain dedicated to collaborating closely with the government and other stakeholders in order to achieve our aspirations,” Al Tayer continued.
