Salbookh incurs losses in H1 on lower sales

Mubasher: Salbookh Trading registered an increase of 57.7% in losses during the second quarter of 2018 compared to the same period in the prior year.

Losses enlarged to about KWD 229,500 ($758,900) in Q2-18 from nearly KWD 145,500 ($481,200) in Q2-17, according to a bourse statement on Wednesday.

During the first half of 2018, Salbookh posted a loss of approximately KWD 416,670 against profits worth nearly KWD 33,050 in the first six months of 2017.

The negative performance in H1 financials is attributed to lower sale value.
