SSH has been appointed lead design consultant for a mixed-use development covering spanning 75ha in Marrakech, Morocco, with the project set to feature a five-star St Regis hotel, luxury residences, and villas and apartments.
Work on Phase 1 of the project, consisting an 18-hole golf course, is complete, with SSH now moving on to its second phase, which is said to comprise hospitality, residential, and retail and landscape components.
A spokesperson for SSH said the hospitality component will include the St Regis hotel, comprising 60 guess rooms, 20 villas, a ballroom, a conference centre, restaurants, and other amenities, apart from branded villas.
The residential component includes both standard and twin villas, with the retail element including shops and a sports academy, according to an SSH statement.
