Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Research and Media Group’s (SRMG) unit, SRMG Media Solutions, inked a sponsorship and advertising services contract with Saudi Telecom Company (stc) on 20 July 2026.
The agreement establishes SRMG Media Solutions as the media representative for Thamanya for Publishing and Distribution, which holds exclusive broadcasting rights for the Saudi Pro League, the King’s Cup, the Saudi Super Cup, and the First Division League.
The contract has a duration of three years and grants stc exclusive rights within the telecommunications category.
While the specific monetary figure was not disclosed, the total value exceeds 5% of the total revenues of Saudi Research and Media Group according to the audited financial statements for the year 2025.
The group expects the financial impact of this agreement to be reflected in its financial statements starting from the third quarter (Q1) of 2026.
The recognition of revenue remains subject to the fulfillment of performance obligations as outlined in the contractual terms. SRMG confirmed there are no related parties involved in the transaction.
On 16 July, SRMG Media Solutions penned a framework agreement to provide media and advertising representation services to Thamanya for Publishing and Distribution.
