Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi National Bank (SNB) logged a net profit of SAR 6.61 billion for the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, representing a 7.64% increase from SAR 6.14 billion in the same period last year.
The bank attributed the growth to an 11.28% rise in total operating income, which reached SAR 10.58 billion, supported by higher net income from financing and investments.
For the first six months (6M) of 2026, the lender's net profit reached SAR 13.03 billion, up 7.16% from SAR 12.16 billion a year earlier.
Total operating income for the half-year period rose by 5.81% to SAR 20.23 billion. The bank’s balance sheet showed total assets of SAR 1.24 trillion as of 30 June 2026, a 3.64% increase compared to the previous year.
Customer deposits grew by 6% year-on-year (YoY) to reach SAR 698.17 billion, while the financing and investment loan portfolio expanded by 3.46% to SAR 739.56 billion.
Earnings per share (EPS) for the six-month period improved to SAR 2.11, compared to SAR 1.95 in the prior-year period.
The bank noted that total operating expenses before impairment charges rose slightly by 1.82% to SAR 5.59 billion during the first half (H1) of 2026.
SNB achieved net profits valued at SAR 6.42 billion in Q1-26, up 6.65% YoY from SAR 6.02 billion.
