Riyadh — Mubasher: The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) has announced the approval of SNB Capital to conduct market making activities for the MT30 Index futures (SF30) and single stock futures (SSF), according to a statement on 26 August 2026.
The mandate covers futures contracts for five prominent listed entities, namely Saudi Aramco, Saudi Telecom Company (stc), Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Maaden), Saudi National Bank (SNB), and Al Rajhi Bank.
The approval follows the conclusion of a previous market making agreement for SNB Capital.
Under the new regulatory framework, the firm is required to provide continuous bid and ask quotes, ensuring market depth and trading volume in accordance with the exchange's established procedures.
These activities are designed to enhance liquidity and attract both speculators and hedgers to the Saudi derivatives market.
SNB Capital officially commenced its market making operations for these financial instruments on 19 August 2026.
Furthermore, the move aligns with the exchange's broader strategy to develop a sophisticated trading ecosystem by mandating specific requirements for order duration and volume across key derivative products.
Tadawul has also unveiled, in collaboration with the Securities Clearing Center Company (Muqassa), structural enhancements to the Saudi derivatives market to increase liquidity and capital efficiency.
