SHL Finance’s net profits jump to SAR 35.5m in H1-26

Riyadh – Mubasher: SHL Finance Company reported a net profit of SAR 35.35 million for the first half (H1) of 2026, representing a 35.89% increase from the SAR 26.01 million recorded during H1-25.

The company attributed the growth to improved profit rates on new lending and a steady expansion of its financing portfolio.

For the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, net profit reached SAR 16.54 million, a 38.67% rise compared to SAR 11.93 million in the corresponding quarter of the prior year.

Total special commission income from financing for the quarter grew by 12.21% to SAR 111.73 million.

However, net profit declined by 12.06% on a sequential basis from the SAR 18.81 million earned in Q1-26, primarily due to an increase in expected credit loss provisions.

The company's total assets stood at SAR 4.89 billion as of 30 June 2026, up 5.08% from SAR 4.66 billion a year earlier. The financing and investment loan portfolio grew by 4.35% to SAR 4.69 billion.

Earnings per share (EPS) for H1-26 improved to SAR 0.35, compared to SAR 0.26 in the prior-year period.

Total shareholders' equity, excluding non-controlling interests, was reported at SAR 1.72 billion.
