Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) witnessed 19.26% year-on-year (YoY) higher net profits at SAR 6.25 billion in the first half (H1) of 2025, compared to SAR 5.24 billion.
The group’s revenues hit SAR 47.22 billion as of 30 June 2025, up 23.49% from SAR 38.23 billion in H1-24, according to the financial results.
Earnings per share (EPS) climbed to SAR 0.45 in the first six months of 2025 from SAR 0.21 a year earlier.
Results for Q2-25
During the second quarter (Q2) of 2025, SEC recorded an annual growth of 21.61% in net profit to SAR 5.28 billion, compared to SAR 4.34 billion.
In the three-month period that ended on 30 June 2025, the revenues jumped by 23.87% to SAR 27.72 billion from SAR 22.37 billion in Q2-24.
Quarterly, the Q2-25 profits hiked by 445.86% from SAR 968 million in Q1-25, while the revenues soared by 42.16% from SAR 19.50 billion.
