SDX Energy, the North African focused oil and gas company, plans to arrange a 12-well campaign in Morocco and start drilling within 2019, Pipeline Oil and Gas Magazine reported.
SDX holds around 75% of Morocco’s Gharb concessions, in which the company processed 3D seismic data that resulted in identified prospects. The prospects will be chosen for the 2019 drilling campaign of 12 wells, which is supposed to start in late Q3 or Q4 of 2019 and finish during the 1H of 2020.
It is expected that three wells from the 12-well program will be completed and connected in 2019.
