SASCO’s profits near SAR 61.5m in 9M-22 interim financials

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Automotive Services Company (SASCO) recorded an annual leap of 72.51% in net profit after Zakat and tax to SAR 61.24 million during the first nine months (9M) of 2022, versus SAR 35.50 million.

Revenues widened by 95.92% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 5.57 billion in January-September 2022, compared to SAR 2.84 billion, according to the interim income statements.

Additionally, the earnings per share (EPS) stood at SAR 1.02 in 9M-22, higher than SAR 0.59 in 9M-21.

During the third quarter (Q3) of 2022, SASCO logged net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 23.53 million, a hike of 106.40% from SAR 11.40 million in Q3-21.

Furthermore, the revenues enlarged by 96.39% YoY to SAR 2.24 billion in Q3-22 from SAR 1.14 billion.

On a quarterly basis, the Q3-22 net profits after Zakat and tax plunged by 20.72% from SAR 29.68 million in Q2-22, while the revenues increased by 8.47% from SAR 2.06 billion.

In the first half (H1) of 2022, the company’s net profits after Zakat and tax amounted to SAR 37.70 million, an annual jump of 56.50% from SAR 24.09 million.

Last September, the Saudi firm announced a cash dividends distribution of SAR 30 million for H-22.
