SAPTCO wins SAR 123m contract for public transport project in 3 cities

Riyadh – Mubasher: Assir Municipality has awarded Saudi Public Transport Company (SAPTCO) a SAR 122.99 million five-year contract for a public transport project.

The contract includes the provision of public bus transportation service in the cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, and Ahad Rufidah, according to a bourse filing.

The scope of the services involves the provision, operation, and maintenance of public transportation buses and associated systems.

The contract’s value includes a 15% value-added tax (VAT).

In December, Tabuk Municipality awarded SAPTCO a contract to operate the first phase of Tabuk City's public transport network.

The Tadawul-listed company reported a net profit of SAR 44.73 million In the first nine months (9M) of 2023.
