SAIB’s board proposes SAR 450m dividends for H2-22

Riyadh – Mubasher: The board of Saudi Investment Bank (SAIB) recommended cash dividends after Zakat to shareholders worth SAR 450 million for the second half (H2) of 2022, according to a bourse filing.

The lender would pay out SAR 0.45 per share, equivalent to 4.50% of the share’s nominal value, in cash dividends for 1 billion eligible shares.

The distribution date will be announced at a later time.

It is worth noting that the board’s recommendation was made on 22 December 2022.

In the first nine months (9M) of 2022, SAIB generated net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 1.15 billion, higher by 49.25% year-on-year (YoY) than SAR 775.60 million.

Earnings per share (EPS) stood at SAR 1.10 in 9M-22, compared to SAR 0.75 in 9M-21.
