Riyadh — Mubasher: Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) announced that its board of directors has approved the distribution of SAR 3.30 billion in interim cash dividends to shareholders for the first half (H1) of 2026.
The chemical manufacturing giant confirmed the payout will target 3 billion eligible shares, resulting in a dividend of SAR 1.10 per share, according to a bourse filing.
The distribution represents 11% of the share's nominal value.
According to the company disclosure, the board reached the decision on 28 July 2026.
Eligibility for the payout is set for 11 August 2026 for shareholders registered with the Securities Depository Center Company at the close of the second trading day following the eligibility date.
The company scheduled the payment for 1 September 2026.
SABIC noted that the dividend decision reflects a balanced approach to capital allocation amid ongoing geopolitical developments and logistical challenges.
The firm also reminded non-resident investors that these distributions are subject to a 5% withholding tax in accordance with Saudi Arabian income tax regulations, unless specific tax exemptions are provided within five days of the eligibility date.
In January-June 2026, the listed company SABIC incurred net losses worth SAR 820 million while its revenue reached SAR 50.96 billion.
