Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) has developed two innovative special substances that are used in healthcare and personal care applications, state-run Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.
Executive Vice President at SABIC, Abdulrahman Al-Fageeh, said the Polyethylene glycol products –SAPEG 400/600 PH –are intermediate materials that are widespread in products such as liquid medicines, personal care products, creams, cosmetics, toothpaste, and soaps.
He further expected the new products to generate investments in the manufacturing industries field, noting that the products have obtained all related international approvals, including international conformity certificates as per the requirements of legislative bodies in the US and the European Union.
