SABIC Agri-Nutrients’ net profits hit SAR 5bn in 2021

Riyadh - Mubasher: SABIC Agri-Nutrients Company’s net profits after Zakat and tax surged by 303.96% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 5.22 billion in 2021 from SAR 1.29 billion in 2020.

Earnings per share stood at SAR 10.98 in 2021, compared to SAR 3.11 a year earlier, according to a bourse filing.

The company’s revenues soared to SAR 9.59 billion in the 12-month period that ended on 31 December 2021, higher by 188.26% than SAR 3.32 billion in the same period of 2020.

In the fourth quarter (Q4) of last year, SABIC Agri-Nutrients achieved a net profit of SAR 2.76 billion, a surge of 1,08% from SAR 233.56 million in Q4-20.

Revenues jumped by 425.79 % to SAR 4.03 billion in Q4-21 from SAR 768.33 million in Q4-20.

On a quarterly basis, the company’s net profits in Q4-21 grew by 129% from SAR 1.20 billion in Q3-21, and the revenues increased by 83% from SAR 2.20 billion.

It is worth noting that in the first half (H1) of 2021, SABIC Agri-Nutrients recorded net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 1.25 billion, up 89.7% from SAR 638.25 million in H1-20
