SABB achieves SAR 3.2bn profits in 2021

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi British Bank (SABB) has achieved SAR 3.2 billion net profits in 2021, compared to net losses of SAR 4.17 billion in 2020, according to the bank's financial results for the period ended 31 December 2021.

The bank's net income from special commissions retreated by 16.69% to SAR 5.73 billion last year from SAR 6.87 billion in 2020.

The bank's assets amounted to SAR 272.4 billion in 2021, down 1.47% from SAR 276.45 billion in the earlier year.

The earnings per share (EPS) stood at SAR 1.56 in 2021, versus losses per share of SAR 2.02 in the previous year.

It is noteworthy to mention that in the first nine months (9M) of 2021, SABB turned to net profits of SAR 2.775 billion, versus net losses of SAR 4.847 billion in the year-ago period.
