SAB to pay SAR 2bn cash dividends for H1-26

Riyadh – Mubasher: The board of Saudi Awwal Bank (SAB) has approved a cash dividend distribution of SAR 2.06 billion to shareholders for the first half (H1) of 2026.

The payout represents 10% of the share nominal value, with the bank confirming it has received a no-objection letter from the Saudi Central Bank regarding the distribution.

The dividend will be distributed across 2.05 billion eligible shares at a rate of SAR 1 per share after Zakat deductions.

Eligibility for the payout is set for shareholders owning shares at the close of trading on 2 August 2026, who are registered in the bank’s share registry at the Securities Depository Center Company by the end of the second trading day following the eligibility date.

The bank scheduled the payment of dividends to commence on 13 August 2026. Non-resident investors are advised that distributions made through resident financial intermediaries will be subject to a 5% withholding tax in accordance with Saudi Arabian income tax regulations.

Shareholders with incomplete bank account data are encouraged to visit the nearest branch or contact the shareholder affairs unit to update their records.

At the end of June 2026, SAB logged a net profit of SAR 2.33 billion, representing a 9.59% increase from SAR 2.13 billion in the same period the previous year.
