SAB, Sharakat pens MoU to develop Saudi talent in privatization sector

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Awwal Bank (SAB) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sharakat to support the Sharakah Training Program to prepare Saudi graduates for careers in the privatization sector as part of the bank’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

The partnership aims to enhance graduates’ professional and technical skills, deepen their understanding of privatization and its requirements, and identify practical training and employment opportunities.

Through the collaboration, SAB will support a specialized program designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and the practical demands of public-private partnership (PPP) projects.

The initiative reflects the lender’s commitment to community development and its efforts to equip Saudi talent with the skills needed to contribute to key economic sectors. It also drives the development of specialized expertise for privatization projects in services and infrastructure, where effective implementation requires multidisciplinary capabilities and close cooperation between the public and private sectors.

Faten Abalkhail, Chief Governance and Corporate Affairs Officer at SAB, commented: “Through our support for the Sharakah Training Program, we aim to help graduates begin their careers with confidence, respond to the evolving needs of the labor market, and contribute to human capital development and the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.”

SAB recently disclosed its financial results during the January-September 2026 period, recording net profits of SAR 6.58 billion.
