Cairo – Mubasher: Rubex International for Plastic and Acrylic Manufacturing on Wednesday announced signing a credential protocol with Drshal Egypt to manufacture electro-plastic parts required for electric cars in the Arab world's most populous country.
The mutual cooperation also aims at dedicating enough production lines for electric vehicles’ spare parts industry, Rubex said in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
Moreover, Drshal has signed an agreement with one of China’s largest electric cars factories to produce this kind of cars in Egypt in collaboration with Engineering Automotive Manufacturing Co, the EGX-listed firm added.
Accordingly, it will be the first wholly-manufactured electric car in the North African nation with the partnership of Chinese experts, the company indicated.
The agreement is preliminary until Drshal obtains all the required official approvals and licences from the government entities in Egypt, Rubex noted.
