Rove Hotels expands in Al Marjan Island

Dubai - Mubasher: Rove Hotels, a joint venture between Emaar Properties and Meraas Holding, has launched the first Rove hotel in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in Al Marjan Island.

The new hotel will comprise 450 rooms, smart media hub, and free high-speed Wi-Fi – along with The Daily international restaurant, according to a company statement released on Thursday.

“We are thankful to the government of Ras Al Khaimah and Al Marjan Island for the opportunity to showcase Rove Hotels in the most prestigious master-planned development in the emirate,” Emaar Hospitality Group’s CEO Olivier Harnisch commented.

Rove Hotels has five hotels in Dubai – Rove Downtown, Rove City Centre, Rove Healthcare City, Rove Trade Centre, and Rove Dubai Marina – in addition to others planned to be opened in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

“Rove Al Marjan Island is a strategic fit to our ambition of offering the Rove experience to new locations within the UAE,” Rove Hotels’ corporate director of operations Paul Bridger said.

The value of the fresh project was not disclosed. 

Al Marjan Island is a cluster of four coral-shaped islands house a development value of over AED 6.61 billion ($1.8 billion) with 1,500 operational hotel keys and over 2,000 residential units.
