Riyadh to host WEF special meeting on global collaboration

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia is gearing up to host the World Economic Forum (WEF) Special Meeting on Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy For Development in Riyadh from 28 to 29 April.

The meeting will gather 700 participants, including key stakeholders from governments and international organizations, business leaders from the WEF’s partner companies, as well as Young Global Leaders, experts, and innovators.

It aims to find solutions to different global challenges relating to humanitarian issues, the climate, and the economy.

The meeting’s program will focus on three key thematic pillars: catalyzing action on energy for development, revitalizing global collaboration, and a compact for inclusive growth.

The special meeting will provide a comprehensive dialogue on leveraging global cooperation for economic development, promoting a global energy transition that underpins sustainable development, and advancing technological advancement.

It will serve as a platform for global leaders and experts to forge a path toward a more resilient, sustainable, and equitable world. The event’s agenda includes several panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities.

Various exhibitions and events will be held on the sidelines of the special meeting to highlight the latest trends in sustainability, innovation, and culture.
