Riyadh – Mubasher: The board members of Riyad Bank resolved to distribute SAR 2.55 billion in cash dividends to shareholders for the first half (H1) of 2026.
The payout, which received non-objection from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), is equivalent to SAR 0.64 per share after Zakat deductions.
The distribution will be allocated across 3.98 billion eligible shares, representing a dividend-to-nominal value ratio of 6.40%.
According to the bank’s disclosure, the eligibility date for shareholders is set for 28 July 2026, with the actual payment scheduled to commence on 10 August 2026.
The bank noted that a 5% withholding tax will apply to dividends transferred to non-resident investors through resident financial intermediaries, in accordance with local income tax regulations.
Non-resident investors with tax exemptions are advised to submit supporting documentation within three days of the eligibility date. The board decision for this distribution was finalized on 20 July 2026.
Shareholders are encouraged to ensure their bank accounts are linked to their investment portfolios to facilitate the direct deposit of funds.
In H1-26, the bank logged a net profit of SAR 5.26 billion, up 3.54% from the SAR 5.08 billion a year before.
