Cairo – Mubasher: Renaissance Capital on Tuesday announced the appointment of Ahmed Hafez as head of Cairo-based MENA Research.
Hafez was the co-head of research at HC Brokerage in Cairo since 2013. He has a bachelor degree from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University.
Renaissance Capital MENA CEO Ahmed Badr commented: “We are delighted that Ahmed has joined our recently established Cairo research unit.”
“With Ahmed on board, the research team will initially focus on Egyptian companies, and potentially expand coverage beyond the country as we continue to strengthen our regional footprint.”
The Egyptian unit of the leading emerging and frontier markets investment bank was established early 2017.
Renaissance Capital is set to hold its third Annual Egypt Conference in Cape Town, South Africa on 24-25 April.
