Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) grew 83.18 points, or 1.69%, to 4,997.56 points in a week, supported by the real estate and banking sectors.
The real estate sector went up 6.2%, as Aldar Properties increased by 7.82%, while the banking sector added 2.27% after First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) gained 4.32%.
The telecommunication sector and its only stock, Etisalat, rose 0.48% each.
The investment sector, at the other end of the spectrum, tumbled 8.89%.
Over the week, the ADX’s trading volume reached 1.1353 billion shares, while the market’s liquidity recorded AED 455.055 million.
