Riyadh — Mubasher: The board of Rasan Information Technology Company has approved the appointment of Nicola Garelli as CEO, effective 5 October 2026.
The decision, made during a board meeting on 4 October, follows a recommendation from the Remuneration and Nomination Committee.
Garelli has been serving as the acting CEO since August 6, 2026. He joined the company in 2023 as Deputy CEO and Chief Strategy and Product Officer.
His professional background includes previous roles as CEO and board member at Beema Insurance and ENOC Link.
Additionally, he served as a partner and director at Boston Consulting Group in the UK, following an 18-year career spanning roles at Boston Consulting Group in Milan, Booz & Company, and Ernst & Young.
Garelli holds a PhD in Management, Economics, and Industrial Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, alongside a master’s degree in Financial Engineering and a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Politecnico di Torino.
He is also a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
