RAKBANK’s 2022 profits to owners hike to AED 1.17bn

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah (RAKBANK) logged net profits attributable to the shareholders worth AED 1.17 billion in 2022, compared to AED 756.12 million in 2021.

RAKBANK registered operating income worth AED 3.45 billion during the January-December 2022 period, up from AED 3.23 billion in 2021, according to the consolidated financial results.

Basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) reached AED 0.70 last year, versus AED 0.45 as of 31 December 2021.

The total assets enlarged to AED 66.50 billion in 2022 from AED 57.58 billion in 2021, while the customers' deposits jumped to AED 44.87 billion from AED 38.92 billion. 

In the first nine months (9M) of 2022, the UAE lender's net profits attributable to the equityholders stood at AED 884.39 million, higher than AED 532.47 million in 9M-21.
