RAK Ceramics registers drop in H1-23 profits; revenues up

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Ras Al Khaimah Ceramics (RAK Ceramics) generated AED 143.01 million in net profit attributable to the owners during the first half (H1) of 2023, down year-on-year (YoY) from AED 147.77 million.

As of 30 June 2023, revenues increased to AED 1.75 billion from AED 1.71 billion in H1-22, according to the financial statements.

In the first six months (6M) of 2023, the basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) amounted to AED 0.14, an annual decline from AED 0.15.

Financial Results for Q2-23

The net profits attributable to the shareholders of RAK Ceramics hit AED 69.60 million during the second quarter (Q2) of 2023, versus AED 91.18 million in the year-ago period.

Revenues shrank to AED 871.98 million in Q2-23 from AED 927.02 million in Q2-22, while the basic and diluted EPS retreated to AED 0.07 from AED 0.09.

In Q1-23, the ADX-listed firm registered an annual growth in net profit attributable to the equityholders to AED 73.41 million, compared to AED 56.58 million.
