Mubasher: The number of issued building permits went down by 32.4% month-on-month in August, according to the Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics of Qatar's (MDPS) data.
The Qatari government has issued 493 building permits last month, compared to 729 in July, according to the ministry’s monthly report issued on Monday.
Al Wakrah municipality topped the list in terms of the issued permits, acquiring 133 building permits, followed by Al Rayyan and Doha with 133 and 121 issued building permits, respectively.
Residential and non-residential building permits acquired 56% of the total 277 building permits issued in August.
