Mubasher: Assets of banks operating in Qatar rose 8.8% month-on-month in March 2018, for the fifth month in a row.
Bank assets amounted to QAR 1.394 trillion ($383.15 billion) in the third month of 2018, compared to QAR 1.282 trillion ($352.32 billion) in the same month a year earlier, according to Qatar Central Bank’s (QCB) data released on Wednesday.
Month-on-month, bank assets levelled up 1.1% during March from QAR 932.56 billion in February 2018.
Qatar's bank lending increased 0.5% to QAR 937.41 billion in March versus QAR 932.56 billion in the month before, lenders' total consolidated budget showed.
While banks' reserves grew 1.7% month-on-month to QAR 36.67 billion in March 2018.
