Mubasher: Qatar’s population increased by 4.7% year-on-year in August, according to a new report by the Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics' (MDPS).
The Qatari population rose to 2.56 million people by the end of last month, from 2.44 million people in the same period of 2017, the MDPS said.
On a monthly basis, the GCC nation's population rose 4.5% from 2.45 million people in July.
