Mubasher: Qatar’s consumer price index (CPI) declined 0.25% year-on-year in October, recording 108.43 points.
The gas-rich nation’s inflation inched up 0.07% month-on-month in October, according to a report released by the Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics (MDPS) on Sunday.
The prices of a five-segment group decreased last month topped by telecommunications, which levelled down 11.3%, followed by the culture and entertainment by 5.15%, and the housing, water, electricity and gas, food and beverages and goods and services sectors, which fell 2.30%, 2.5% and 0.18%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the prices of six segments witnessed an increase headed by the education, which rose by 9.73%, followed by transportation with 5.90%.
