Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose in Monday’s early trading by 0.42% or 32.51 points to QAR 10,006.47 points.
By 10:00 AM Doha time, trading volume reached 366,480 shares exchanged at QAR 19.07 million through 529 transactions.
The banking sector was the best performer after adding 0.73%, backed by the rise in eight shares topped by Al khaliji Bank with a growth of 4.32%.
The real estate sector also leapt by 0.6% as Ezdan Holding advanced 1.04%. The industrial sector rose 0.22%, supported by an increase of 0.61% in Industries Qatar.
Meanwhile, the telecom and consumer goods sectors shrank by 0.12% and 0.09% respectively.
