Qatar Airways eyes new destinations in 2019

Mubasher: Qatar Airways on Sunday announced the return of its recently-launched seasonal routes that will start as of May 2019.

The seasonal routes will be resumed to the destinations of Antalya, Bodrum, Mykonos, and Málaga, in addition to more flights and upgraded aircraft on two routes, according to the carrier’s statement.

“The passenger demand for the return of non-stop services to these top tourist hot spots has been very high, so we are thrilled to respond by not only resuming these routes for summer 2019 but also by adding an extra weekly flight to the Antalya, Bodrum and Mykonos schedules,” Akbar Al Baker, CEO of Qatar Airways, said.

The Qatari carrier will allocate the larger A330 on the Antalya service, and the more spacious and efficient Boeing 777 for Málaga.

It is worth noting that Qatar Airways is one of the world’s fastest-growing airlines, with a modern fleet of more than 200 aircraft flying to business and leisure destinations across the world.
