Mubasher: Qatar Airway announced that it has signed an agreement with US Department of Homeland Security in the Field of Civil Aviation.
Both parties agreed to cooperate on the exchange and protection of security information, state-run Qatar Airway said on Twitter.
The partnership was inked by Abdullah bin Nasser Turki Al-Subae, chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority, and William Grant, charge d'affaires of the US Embassy in Qatar.
Under the agreement, the two sides are to set up the guidelines and strategy for swapping security information, securing and sharing experiences, as well as boosting civil aviation cooperation.
