Mubasher: Trade exchange between Qatar and Pakistan doubled 5 times over the past 4 years.
The bilateral trade between the two countries increased up to $1 billion, from $200 million, ambassador of Pakistan in Qatar Shahzad Ahmad said.
Pakistan’s total exports to Qatar hiked 64% in the last two quarters of 2017, compared to the same period of the prior year, Ahmad added.
Pakistani exports to the GCC nation amounted to $80 million, while its imports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) reached $1 billion.
