Riyadh – Mubasher: Qassim Cement Company achieved a net profit of SAR 51.78 million for the second quarter (Q2) ending on 30 June 2026, marking a 15.21% decline from SAR 61.06 million in Q2-25.
The revenue for the quarter fell by 6.44% to SAR 274.57 million, down from SAR 293.47 million a year earlier.
The company attributed the decline in profitability to a drop in average selling prices and lower sales volumes. Performance was further impacted by higher operating costs following an increase in fuel prices at the start of the year.
Operating profit for the quarter reached SAR 56.17 million, a 23.55% decrease compared to SAR 73.47 million in the prior-year quarter.
For the first half (H1) of 2026, net profit reached SAR 120.50 million, down 19.50% from SAR 149.68 million in the first half of the previous year.
Half-year revenues decreased by 4.83% to SAR 567.36 million. Earnings per share (EPS) for the six-month period stood at SAR 1.10, compared to SAR 1.36 in the corresponding period.
Total shareholders' equity, excluding non-controlling interests, hit SAR 2.60 billion as of 30 June 2026.
In Q1-26, the company’s net profits fell by 22.45% YoY to SAR 68.72 million from SAR 88.61 million.
