Doha - Mubasher: Qatar Aluminum Extrusion Company (QALEX), which is a subsidiary of Qatar Industrial Manufacturing (QIMC) has doubled its production capacity by adding new production lines with investments totalling QAR 45 million.
The expansion was financed by Qatar Development Bank, according to the company’s statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) on Sunday.
The CEO of Qatar Industrial Manufacturing, Abdul Rahman Al Ansari, said in the statement that 5 deals were agreed to provide 5 production lines.
The new production lines are expected to begin operating in the first half of 2017, to raise the total production capacity to 16,500 tonnes per year, added Al Ansari.
