Mubasher: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Thursday’s trading session down, dragged by the drop of three sectors.
By 10:00 am Qatar time, the general index fell 0.15 %, or 13.88 points, to reach 9,341.14 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 11.09 million after 706,490 shares were traded through 313 transactions.
The banking sector topped the QSE’s losers falling 0.79% on the back of Qatar National Bank’s (QNB) 1.61% drop.
Similarly, the real estate sector went down 0.55% as Barwa Real Estate declined 1.10%.
On the other hand, the industrial sector headed the bourse’s gainers adding 0.57% as Gulf International Services and Industries Qatar rose 2.01% and 1.17%, respectively.
Qatar Gas Transport’s (Nakilat) stock led the market in terms of trading volume with 356,700 shares, generating QAR 5.7 million in liquidity.
