Doha-Mubasher: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) in Tuesday’s early trading maintained its upward trend that began at the beginning of the week, gaining 0.22% or 23.27 points to reach 12,203.30 points by 10:00am Qatar time.
QE Al Rayan index rose 0.24% or 11.81 points to 4,659.44 points, while QE All Share index advanced 0.16% or 5.42 points to reach 3,258.70 points.
Trading volume reached 2.6 million shares executed through 1,527 transactions, at a turnover of QAR 106.3 million.
The industrial sector rose 0.71% to become the top gainer0.71%, followed by banks and financial services (+0.17%), real estate (+0.08%), and consumer goods and services (+0.05%).
The transportation sector led losers with a 0.77% decline, followed by the insurance and telecom sectors at 0.12% and 0.07%, respectively.
Aamal Company was the best performer, adding 2.36%, while Doha Insurance Company was the top decliner, losing 2.43%.
