QSE rebounds to 11,400 pts, powered by QNB, Ezdan

Mubasher: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) saw a positive performance on Wednesday, gaining 1.69% or 190.10 points to reach 11,465.22 points.

QE All Share index gained 1.59% to 3,053.98 points, whereas QE Al Rayan Islamic index added 1.25% to close at 4,318.23 points.

Turnover reached QAR 372.8 million after 6.9 million shares were traded through 4,703 transactions.

The banking and financial services sector topped gainers after adding 2.14%, followed by the industrial (+1.98%), real estate (+1.44%), telecom (+1.19%), consumer goods and services (+0.22%) and insurance (+0.21%).

The transportation sector was the only loser after declining 0.13%.

Al Khaleej Takaful Group was the top gainer as it ended 7.30% higher, while Gulf Warehousing Company led losers after falling 2.02%.

Qatar National Bank was the most active company with trading volume reaching one million shares. Meanwhile, Ezdan Holding Group came in first in terms of value as it made QAR 61.65 million.
