Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Sunday’s trading in the red.
By 10:08 am Qatar time, the general index inched down 0.03% to 9,823.75 points, losing 3.1 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 21 million after 731,000 shares were traded through 385 transactions.
The real estate sector topped the QSE’s decliners falling 0.87% as Ezdan Holding Group retreated 1.08%.
Meanwhile, the insurance sector headed the bourse’s gainers adding 0.55%.
The heavyweight Qatar National Bank’s (QNB) stock, which dipped 0.62%, led the QSE in terms of liquidity with QAR 5.11 million, while Dlala Brokerage and Investment Holding’s stock, which grew 1.7%, spearheaded the market in terms of trading volume with 340,610 shares.
