Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Monday’s trading session in negative territory.
By 09:46 am Qatar time, the general index inched down 0.05% to 9,440.83 points, shedding 4.5 points.
The bourse's turnover amounted to QAR 2.6 million after 118,200 shares were traded through 150 transactions.
The transportation sector topped the QSE’s losers falling 0.74%.
Meanwhile, the goods and services sector headed the bourse’s gainers adding 0.8%.
Islamic Holding Group’s stock, which declined 0.41%, led the QSE in terms of liquidity with QAR 340,000, while Ezdan Holding Group’s stock, which rose 0.11%, spearheaded the market in terms of trading volume with 21,710 shares.
