Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended Wednesday's trading session in the green, touching an all-time high since 22 June 2017, amid heavy trade.
The general index rose 2.16%, or 173.59 points, to 8,206.87 points.
On Wednesday, market capitalisation went up 2.4% to QAR 451.6 billion versus QAR 441.2 billion on Tuesday.
Liquidity levelled up to QAR 331.22 million from QAR 213.08 in the previous session, while the trading volume hiked to 20.43 million shares from 12.37 million shares.
All sectors rose, spearheaded by the real estate sector which added 4.96% after Mazaya Qatar Real Estate Development's stock soared 8.81%.
The industrial sector jumped 3.05%, led by Aamal Company’s 9.58% surge.
Similarly, the banking sector gained 1.3%, while National Leasing Holding Company’s stock advanced 3.97%.
Vodafone Qatar, up 7.18%, was the most actively-traded stock on the QSE in terms of volume with 4.6 million shares, generating a liquidity of QAR 33.9 million.
