QP to sell Al Shaheen oil cargoes at lower premiums in February

Mubasher: Qatar Petroleum (QP) has sold two cargoes of Al Shaheen crude oil to be loaded in February at lower premiums, sources familiar with the matter said.

The cargoes contain 600,000 barrels, $0.35 or $0.45 higher than the UAE’s average price, sources told Reuters.

ChinaOil and JXTG Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation, a Japanese petroleum company, could be the two buyers.

Al-Shaheen is considered the Qatari firm’s largest oil field with a production capacity of 300,000 barrels per day.
