Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Exchange dropped 1.56%, and ended the week at the level of 9,097.9 points.
Meanwhile, traded values rose 68.27% to QAR 3.97 billion, despite a slight decrease in volumes to 62.04 million shares.
The market cap lost 2.35% and reached a total QAR 499.5 billion, compared with QAR 511.5 billion by the end of last week.
QNB dominated 56.34% of this week’s trade, followed by QIB with 9.64%.
As for the stocks’ performance, 17 closed in green, and 25 closed in red, while three remained unchanged.
Six marker sector indices declined, led by real estate with 3.72%, followed by insurance and telecom with 3.43% and 3.19%, respectively.
Only the transportation sector ended the week in gains, rising by 4.02%.
