Petrofac Wins Iraq Contracts Worth $110M

Petrofac has secured a new contract and multiple contract extensions worth a combined $110 million, Pipeline Oil and Gas Magazine reported.

Under the contracts, Petrofac will conduct construction management, engineering, commissioning and start-up services for international oil company clients in Iraq.

Petrofac has previously been involved in onshore and offshore greenfield and brownfield projects in its eight years in Iraq.

Mani Rajapathy, managing director, Petrofac Engineering & Production Services East, stated: “The extension of our Iraq portfolio is part of our ongoing growth strategy. We continue to expand our service delivery in-country through the development of strong client relationships, whilst remaining competitive in a maturing market.”
