Mubasher: Oman Telecommunications (Omantel) on Sunday announced the appointment of a new chairman.
Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshedi was named as the new chairman, succeeding Sultan bin Hamdoon Al Harithi, the telecom firm said in a statement to Muscat Securities Market (MSM).
For the full-year 2018, Omantel logged a net profit of OMR 208.9 million ($541.06 million), compared to OMR 99.8 million ($258.49 million) in the prior year.
