Oman Oil Q3 profits fall 19%

Mubasher: Oman Oil Marketing reported on Thursday a 19% fall in the company’s profits for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2016 to OMR 2.71 million ($7.02 million), versus OMR 3.35 million ($8.67 million) for Q3-15.

In the first nine months of the year, net profit declined 14.9% to OMR 7.56 million, compared to OMR 8.88 million for the same period of 2015, according to a bourse filing.

Total sales reached OMR 312.02 million for the January-September period of 2016, rising 12.3% from OMR 277.97 million for the same period last year.

The company earlier posted a net profit of OMR 4.85 million for the first half of 2016, 12.3% down from OMR 5.53 million for H1-15.
