Oman Insurance’s Q3 profit reaches AED 38m

Dubai - Mubasher: Oman Insurance Company (OIC) registered profits attributable to the owners of the company worth AED 37.987 million during the third quarter of 2019, up from AED 24.717 million in the corresponding quarter in 2018, consolidated financial statements showed.

Earnings per share (EPS) rose to AED 0.08 in Q3-19 from AED 0.05 in Q3-18, according to a bourse statement on Tuesday.

During the nine months ended 30 September, the insurance firm’s profits attributable to the owners of the company surged to AED 139.952 million compared to AED 84.034 million in the same period last year, whereas EPS levelled up to AED 0.30.

Gross insurance premium rose to AED 793.431 million in Q3-19 but dropped to AED 2.837 million over the nine months ended 30 September, down from AED 2.958 million.
